Supporting Your Journey with Care
Are you having difficulties with Debts, issues around disclosure, support with relationships, are you alone and feel isolated and need someone to talk to or make new friends, benefits, housing, education, work, immigration……or anything else?
At ‘Well for Life’, we can assist you in many ways, for example, we can help with form filling. We can contact other agencies on your behalfs, such as the Department of Work and Pensions, the housing or education departments, or the Home Office.
We can accompany you to interviews or appointments with the above. We will do our best to help you to address your problems by giving you the opportunity to talk them through in a confidential, safe, and welcoming environment. We have a dedicated team of Support Worker Volunteers supporting people.
Through offering practical and emotional support, our aim is to accompany you through bad times and be there for you, to celebrate the good times too.

Personalized Health Counselling
Receive one-on-one guidance from our experienced health professionals to confidently navigate your health journey. Get information, advice and guidance through face to face appointments or phone call.

Wednesday Drop in Lunch - Nutritional Support Programs
Access tailored nutritional advice and meal planning to enhance your well-being and support your health goals. It also provides a social opportunity to meet other people and share experiences over a cooked meal and get advice and information from our trained staff and Social Workers. Are you feeling isolated? Come and join in!

Peer Support & Advocacy Groups
Join our dedicated staff and trained people from other charities-led support groups to connect with others, share experiences, and find strength in solidarity. We work closely with the community and hope to provide Emotional and practical Support and Psychological referrals to the right support groups.

Support & Advocacy: Helping You with Benefits, Housing, Health & More
Assistance and advocacy support with benefits, housing issues, form-filling, health advice, family/relationship issues, universal credit and personal finance/debts

Support in Educational & Employment
Participate in workshops that provide valuable information on living well with HIV and staying informed about the latest health advancements. Referral to JEM (Jobs, Employment and Mentoring) Group. Placement supervision for Health and Social care / Social Work students.

Community Outreach Initiatives & Health Events
Engage with our outreach programs aimed at raising awareness and reducing stigma in the community. We attend health and social interactions events throughout Derby City.
